Dear David, Barbara and Muriel, My heart is very heavy from the news of Linda's passing. She was such a good friend and a true inspiration with all of her accomplishments. When she returned from Hawaii, she instilled in me a yearning to one day get there myself. In fact, my move to California in 1963 was the first leg of that journey, but I met Lu within two weeks, and the rest is history. However, Linda didn't let it go at that, in 1992 she arranged a trip to Hawaii for herself, her sisters, and some friends and encouraged me to meet them there. I did and came to realize her great love of that state. She was one of the familiar faces I could always count on seeing on trips back home and I will truly miss visiting with her and catching up on the news. May God bless all of you in your time of loss and keep Linda close at hand.
