It is sad to have a parent pass. While the sense of loss may never fully leave, what an opportunity to celebrate life and connect with those who love and care. I will always remember how the Derby household was a central setting for so much teenage energy and friendship. I am eternally grateful for Mrs. Derby and her willingness to let us sprawl out all over her home.
