Harlie L.  Rascoe (Rascoe)
Harlie L. Rascoe, age 12, of Lake Clear, NY, died Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.

Born in Saranac Lake, New York on April 11, 2004, she was the daughter of David and Kimberly (Blanchard) Rascoe.

Harlie was a 7th grade student attending the Saranac Lake Middle School and was an energetic loving soul who always said she was going to be the first girl to ride a Harley Davidson to High School. Harlie loved the outdoors, riding snowmobiles since the age of 5, kayaking, fishing, animals, camping and was working on getting her hunting license.

She is survived by her father and mother David and Kimberly Rascoe of Lake Clear, two brothers Jake (Samantha) Holmes of Utica and David Rascoe, Jr. of Lake Clear and one sister Kylie Rascoe of Lake Clear, her maternal grandparents Archie and Patricia Blanchard of Lake Clear, her maternal grandmother Louise Rascoe of Saranac, Several aunts and uncles including Gay Karnes, Joanne Blanchard-McDaniel, Harold Blanchard, Jean Blanchard, Christina Blanchard and Billy Stamper, Mike Allen, Erica Holtz and Roseanna Baxter, her Godfather John Devereaux and numerous cousins. Also predeceased by her Uncle's Archie Blanchard,Tony McDaniel, Kevin Rascoe, and Paternal Grandfather Clyde Rascoe. Harlie’s family prayers and thoughts are especially with one of Harlie’s dearest friends Christina Harvey during this difficult time.

Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday December 17, 2016 at St. Bernard's Church, with Rev. Patrick Ratigan officiating.

Friends wishing to remember Harlie may make memorial contributions to the Saranac Lake Central School District to be earmarked for the Girls Modified Volley Ball program in care of the funeral home.
