Condolence: Words can never describe what a wonderful and caring person that Bill was in life. He touched the hearts of so many people, mine included. Even though he was sick for so many years he just kept his chin up and fought in. He had such wonderful advice for you when you needed it. If you were his friend he truly cares about you. He loved his furry friends as well.
I know that I was blessed to have gotten to know him over the past 13 years and will miss him.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Condolence: Wonderful memories of this kind and courageous man will be with me for a long time to come. Bill lived his life to the fullest and reached out to others with love and kindness. For all of the suffering there was minimal mention of the sacrifice that he made for his country. He brought so much joy and good to his community of friends and fellow patients. He will be missed.

Condolence: Bill Scheefer enriched our lives beyond measure with his generosity, love and encouragement. His spirit will live on in us on and off Whiteface Mountain. Our prayers are for him as he has made his journey home.

Condolence: I am so thankful for your friendship and having the privilege of spending the best winters of my “retirement” with you at the Whiteface NASTAR. May your family take comfort in knowing how much you have added to the lives you have touched. Thanks for the memories.

Condolence: Time has taken you from this Earth but you will forever be in our hearts. You helped us to be better in so many ways and you truly are the essence of what a friend should be like. Someday we will meet again and we will ski like we never skied before. The Team shall rise again with you to lead us. Rest in Peace dear friend and to your family our deepest sympathy.

Condolence: Somewhere in heaven Bill is schussing down a ski mountain with a smile on his face. Bill you will be terribly missed. Race day will never be the same!

Our family will never forget the days of you, dad,Tim, and Doc taking off from the house riding your motorcycles like you were 20 again. Well Bill you now can act like your 20 again,ride your bike, ski those mountains and water ski those beautiful lakes. you are at peace and will be greatly missed!!
