I did not know Norma well, but she always seemed to me to be a kind and warm person. My fondest memory of her stems from Marilyn and Adam’s wedding: When the band called for an elimination dance Norma and Arthur stood up with the many other married couples looking handsome and comfortable together, and as each couple sat down according to the length of time they had been together, those two danced on, Norma’s smile more radiant with each step. When finally they were the last couple dancing she looked so proud and happy. It seemed so sweet to me – and such an inspiration for us all to strive for marital accord.
My condolences to all who loved and will miss her.
