Helen was our dear friend and next door neighbor in Saranac Lake. We loved her no- nonsense ways and her dry sense of humor. She often had us in stitches. She was a good friend to us and our cats and went out of her way to be kind. We often marveled watching her head out to work on cold snowy mornings.
