Condolence: Charles was a colleague during my tenure at Paul Smiths 1969-1982..."Chuck" always greeted everyone with a smile. He was a kind and caring person and a great role model for students. (and he would not have approved of the previous run on sentence!)

Condolence: sue and sons, my condolences are extended to all of you. it was a pleasure to have known and worked with charles on 2 different levels. it makes me realize that, as i age, how fragile life is. you see people and in a matter of days,weeks they are no longer with us. both of you seemed like a perfect couple. i;m sure there are hundreds of friends that charles made. thinking of you. tom

Condolence: Alexander Family: Our Deepest Sympathy on the passing of your beloved Husband and Father. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We still have fond memories of how happy and proud Jackie was to have her much loved Uncle Charlie walk her down the aisle on her wedding day.

Condolence: Sue and family. I will always treasure my time teaching English at Paul Smith's. It was a pleasure to get to know you and Charlie, and I will always remember trading lines to "How About You" with Charlie outside of the faculty lounge, and the weekend you and I met in Paris when you were with some of your students. I will always remember Charlie fondly.

Condolence: Dear Sue and family - Sue, I am a comrade of yours through the WCSC....I want to send my condolences to you and your family as I am unable to see you with the WCSC group in person......my hopes for all of you is that you will find comfort in all the wonderful memories you shared as a couple and a family......God be with you all during this time.

Condolence: My thoughts are with you as you celebrate the life a wonderful man and friend. We met at PSC in the 70's and he was a true inspiration to every student and person he met. Rest in peace and well done my good and faithful servant.

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family. In middle/high school you could tell the Alexander boys came from a good family. Once in college I figured out why. I had the privilege of taking two classes from Mr Alexander (speech and film, about 7-8 years ago). He was a great teacher with a great attitude who really cared about his students. After two minutes in his classroom you could tell he really enjoyed teaching. I left his public speaking class very comfortable giving speeches, presenting reports, and telling stories. Just last week I was telling a coworker a story from his class. I'm sure he left an impression on many other students throughout the trilakes over the years.

Condolence: So sorry to hear about the loss of Charlie. Dick and I have known him and his family for many years. He was always the voice of reason at PSC and a breath of fresh air. Wonderful teacher, wonderful colleague, wonderful family man. The world is a little less bright tonight as we hear about his passing. Our condolences to his family and friends.
