Val was a loyal and loved member of our poetry group which meets at the Saranac Lake Free Library. She wrote beautiful, inspiring poems as well as ones full of wit and fun. She helped us all to better insight and delighted us with her wry sense of humor. Her death leaves a big hole in the hearts of us all. I sincerely hope that her poems will be retrieved and saved in print so they will be preserved for others to read. Farewell Valerie. We are all richer for knowing you.
