Obituary for Elizabeth "Lizzy" David

On the morning of Feb 9th, 2019 Elizabeth “Lizzy” David, 49 went to join the angels.

Elizabeth was born October 18th, 1969 and lived in Saranac Lake for the last 11 years after moving from here from the Bronx. Elizabeth made many strong friendships while in Saranac Lake, some of which should referred to as her family.

Lizzy was a joy to be around, her smiles and gestures would melt anyone’s heart. Her love for the Adirondacks was strong. She could often be seen on nature walks in the spring and summer months to, along with picnics by water. Lizzy was always willing and ready to try new things. Elizabeth had a love for music, and used it to help express herself. She would attend all the local summer concerts and sometimes even “movies on the green”. Lizzy always tried to give back to her community in any way possible. She would attend and donate as much of her time as she could for others. A true heart of gold.

Lizzy is survived by many close friends, and family members Erin Perry and Betty Donaldson, and we would like to thank the Adirondack Medical Center’s ICU unit for all their love and care they provided to Lizzy.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. A memorial service will be at the convenience of friends and family and a Spring burial is planned. Family and friends wishing to remember Elizabeth “Lizzy” David may make memorial contributions to the Saranac Lake Volunteer Rescue Squad in care of the funeral home.
