Condolence: All the public ballyhoo has died off now, mere weeks after Bobbi's death, but that doesn't mean our love for her has been buried too deeply to never surface in our lives ever again. Today I came across what a bagpiper had learned by attending so many deaths, and there, at that moment, in my memory was Bobbi, as bright and loving as ever, perhaps bigger than life now that life has left her: "I always make a point to listen to the eulogies. Often, it’s the fruit of the well lived, but invariably, it’s the fruit of the well loved." Jeff Herbert

Condolence: This world has lost a very special lady, with the passing of Bobbie! Time and distance never diminished the great love she held in her heart for those she came in contact with over the years. Bobbie and I connected YEARS ago as young professionals in SUNYCDO; over the challenges of raising 2 boys, balancing work and family, and the debate about whether Patti Lupone was THE best singer on Broadway or not?! (We never came to agreement on this one!!!). I always felt that I wanted to be like Bobbie when I grew up. I have never met a more positive, friendly, enthusiastic, sparkly, kind human being. These traits remained with her even in the face of the most unimaginable prognosis. My heart bleeds for all of you - Josh and Joey and George - who I never got to meet but I always got to hear great stories about all these years!!!! I will miss her deeply! And in her honor, I will give Patti Lupone another chance and will certainly think of Bobbie whenever I hear her sing! Thank you for making this crazy world a better place, my friend! My deepest sympathies to you all. Kris DeLuca SUNYCDO Board Member, Emeritus

Condolence: I was deeply saddened and surprised to learn of Bobbie's passing. I knew her through my visits to NCCC on behalf of SUNY Oswego. She was always so friendly, helpful and most of all, dedicated to helping her students.

Condolence: Bobbie always had a twinkle in her eye and a smile and kind word for everyone. I met Bobbie MANY years ago through our SUNY Career Development Organization. We served on the board and on committees together. She was smart, a great leader, and always upbeat and positive. She was in love with her sons and her George.... what a beautiful love story. She faced her illness with such grace, courage and tenacity. My heart is heavy knowing that she is no longer on this earth. My sincere condolences to her family. Peace, Nancy Paul-Webb SUNYCDO Past President and Emeritus Member

Condolence: My condolences to Bobbi’s family. I was privileged to meet Bobbi shortly after she started working at NCCC and we became good friends. I was recruiting transfer students and worked closely with Bobbi helping her students find the right fit in a college. Bobbi was a passionate advocate for her students. I can remember sitting in her office, or in the connector and listening to her tell me why this student should come to my college and why we should give them a larger scholarship. Good memories of a wonderfully caring and compassionate lady.

Condolence: I was so saddened to hear of the loss of Bobbie. I worked with Bobbie through SUNYCDO over a number of years. She was such as special person - generous, kind, positive, passionate about her work. Someone you were proud to know and call a friend. I am so sorry for your loss. The world will not be the same without her in it. I am sure she touched so many people's lives as she did mine. Most Sincerely, Judy Applebaum
