Barbara A. Kristoffersen, age 58, of Potsdam, died Sunday, October 21, 2018 at her home following a long illness.

Born in Saranac Lake, New York on January 06, 1960, she was the daughter of Robert and Patricia (Quigley) Dupree. Barbara, married Roy Kristoffersen on June 18, 1982 in Saranac Lake, New York. He predeceased her July 27, 2007.

Barb grew up in Saranac Lake where she attended and graduated from High School. She had been employed for the Potsdam Central School District for many years. Barb especially enjoyed crafting and sharing her crafts at craft fairs.

She is survived by one daughter Mandy (Michael) Dickinson of Ogdensburg, NY, and one son Robert (Beth) Kristoffersen of Tupper Lake, two grandchildren Madelyn and Connor Dickinson both of Ogdensburg, her companion Roger MacDonald of Potsdam, three brothers Peter Dupree and his companion Nadia Korths of Saranac Lake, William "Bill" Dupree of Saranac Lake, and Thomas (Wendy) Dupree of Saranac Lake, one sister Amy (Tom) Hagar of Saranac Lake and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy, her parents, and two brothers Paul “Bummer” Dupree and Michael Dupree.

Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will take place at 1:00 PM on Friday October 26, 2018 at the funeral home, with Rev. Paul Kelly officiating. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Saranac Lake.
