Condolence: Jack never knew how much I counted him as a friend. But how could I not, given his good nature and the uplifting effect he had on me every time we had a passing conversation on the sidewalk or leaning over the bar. There was a quiet, unassuming nobility about Jack sensed by all who knew him. In this time of narcissism, callous disregard and duplicity Jack's presence will be all that more missed.
