Condolences

Condolence From: sara calderone baumgartner
Condolence: Bob's family....Have so many memories of my childhood here in Alliance in the Romanian/Italian neighborhood on Wade and Garwood. Bob was seven years older and was such a kind person.
Everyone in the neighborhood played ball called First Bouncer Fly at Goat Hill. We also all played Kick the Can, Hide and Seek, and had a Sewing Club and yes, Bob, was in that, too.
The Sotcan families lived between my our house and Bob's house. I had one sister three years older than me, Angela. Can remember never putting a foot on Vic Pasco's grass unless he said you could come in the yard. Bob's mom Elinore as a special lady! She would have all us kids over and remember her getting down on the kitchen floor and us riding on her back one at a time and Barb made popcorn and forgot to put the lid on the pan one time. We were all laughing. Bob was a great baseball player and what a drummer. Barb played the piano, Bob played the drums and Charlene would tap dance for us in the living room. Only Nick is left the Sotcan family of Mary and John as Janice, Diana and Tom have all passed. Cathy was born sometime later and never got to know her. Miss the good old days in that wonderful neighborhood and your dad who was so special.
