The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Stephen Morgan can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Douglas Poole
Condolence: Marsha and family, I was deeply sadden to learn of Steve's passing. He was a terrific athlete and an even better person. In High School he was the star but never acted like it. I admired him so much because he was what I wanted to be. So when my first born was a boy, I said we will name him Steve!

Condolence: I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Morgan. He was a true gentleman and a great teacher! Perfect parallel parking, changing a tire and skidding on ice - 3 of the most useful skills I ever learned. Even today when I fit my car into a particularly tight spot I think, "Mr. Morgan would be proud of that one!"
I hope you find peace. My thoughts and prayers are with your whole family.

Condolence: My first time behind the wheel of the Driver's Ed car, Mr. Morgan started talking to me as we started forward. The next thing I knew, the car stopped! He taught me quite quickly to keep my eyes on the road when he pointed forward: we were very close to a stone wall. It was a lesson well learned. Thanks to him, I learned the perfect way to parallel park, something I was able to pay forward.

Condolence: Dear Morgan Family, Coach was one of the most influential men in my life as a teenager. I still remember win, loose or draw on the road, we always stopped at Stewart's to get an ice cream after the game. Coach Morgan and I always had 2 scoops of Butter Pecan in a cone. Not only did Coach Morgan teach me to be a better athlete and driver. but a more responsible person. I am thankful and grateful to call Coach Morgan a mentor and dear friend. With a tear in my eyes, Heaven has gained a warrior with a big heart. God Bless, ~Erik VanYserloo

Condolence: So sorry to hear of Steve's passing We enjoyed getting to know him during his time at Saranac Lake HS. We feel so fortunate that he taught our two sons how to drive. He was a fantastic teacher who took the time to get to know a student so he could best teach him/her. Our youngest son Erik especially enjoyed talking basketball with him. He called home from Phoenix last night, greatly saddened by the news. Our condolences to all of you
