Dear Jessie and family, As you know, I grew up on Payeville Rd. about 300 feet from where the Aubin family lived. Through our growing up years, all of us shared everything together. Happy times and sad times. Norris and I and all the kids on the street played football, hide and seek, etc. on the street until dark or our parents called us home. One night, when I was around 16, there was a terrible thunder and lightning storm. Mom and Dad were out for the evening when I heard a terrible crash on the roof and thought the pine tree had come down on the house. Crying in fear, I called Mrs. Aubin and she had Norris come out in the terrible storm to stay with me until my parents came home. I was never so glad to see anybody in my life. Norris will never be forgotten and will always be missed. Jessie, we love you and you are in our thoughts and prayers.
