I was just recently telling my Nursing supervisor about Mary Ellen and how my sister always tells the story of how wonderfully she got Monica thru her labor and delivery of Mike Brown! My mom worked with Mary Ellen and was in awe of her dedication and her natural ability to love and support the women at Saranac Lake General Hospital. For me, I was the kid who was amazed at the Keith family every Sunday at St. Paul's and wondered how she braided her daughter's hair and still got to Mass on time! I am so sorry for all the Keith family and the loss of such a loving Mom and grandmother. I wish I had known her.
