Obituary for Joseph P. "Joe" Foley
Joseph "Joe" P. Foley, 57, of Saranac Lake died unexpectedly at home on May 23, 2017.
Joe was born in Saranac Lake on March 25, 1960. His love of good food, lovingly prepared, as a chef in Florida and Lake Placid gave him great joy. An avid reader, astute student of life and fan of Rock n' Roll he loved to hunt and fish at Owl Pond in the Adirondack Park.
Joe is survived by his mother Jean Wamsganz-Foley of Saranac Lake; his son Michael Foley (Chrysten); grandsons Brennen and Sean of Cape Coral, Florida; brother-in-law Jimmy Goodrich; Uncles Bill, Vernon, John, Paul and Matt as well as several cousins
Joe was predeceased by his sister Kathlene Foley-Goodrich and father Bernard Foley.
Arrangements in care of Fortune-Keough in Saranac Lake, NY. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
Donations in Joe's memory may be directed to the Tri-Lakes Humane Society in Saranac Lake.
