Carolyn R.  Hickok (Clark)
Carolyn R. Hickok, age 85, of Fish Creek Ponds, died Thursday, May 18, 2017 at AMC-Mercy Health Care Center in Tupper Lake.

Born in Utica, New York on May 03, 1932, she was the daughter of Claude and Lorraine (Rogers) Clark. She married Robert Hickok on May 5, 1953 at the Bloomingdale Methodist Church. He predeceased August 20, 2001.

She was self-employed in the family business, Hickok’s Boat Livery, which has operated since 1926. She served as the Town of Santa Clara Town Clerk and Tax Collector for over 30 years. She was a member of the Bloomingdale Methodist Church where she served as the treasurer and organist for many years. She was also a member of the Order of the Easter Star.

She is survived by two sons Robert Roger (Lynn) Hickok of Fish Creek and William Bryan (Julie) Hickok of Bloomingdale, one daughter Carol Anne Hickok and her companion Dav Mickey of Colchester, VT, three grandchildren, Megan (Justin) Carter of Bloomingdale, Dale Hickok of St. Regis Falls and Gary Robert Hickok of Bloomingdale, four great grandchildren Brylee Carter, Kaydance Hickok, Dale Hickok, Jr. and Camron Hickok and one brother Donald Clark of Ohio.

Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Monday, May 22, 2017 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Tuesday May 23, 2017 at the funeral home with Rev. Wilbert Gamble officiating. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
