Obituary for Walter P. Reichardt

Walter P. Reichardt, age 75, of Lake Clear, died Friday, September 16, 2016.

Born in Rochester, New York on February 01, 1941, he was the son of Paul and Johanna von Vulter Reichardt. Walter, married Linda Hogan on May 3, 1975 in Rochester, NY.

Walt has been a resident of Lake Clear since 1991. Prior to that he had lived in Rochester, NY where he was employed by the Kodak Company for 30 years until his retirement in 1991. Walter loved living in the Adirondacks and enjoy woodworking.

He is survived by his wife Linda of Lake Clear, eight children, Laurie Garnish of Avon, NY, Michael (Tanya) Garnish of Denver, CO, Lisa Garnish of Myrtle Beach, SC, Heidi (Harold) Reichardt-Hudson of Lexinton, NC, Ronald Reichardt of Rochester, NY, Kyle (Amy) Garnish of Rochester, NY, Matthew Reichardt of Clearwater, FL and Walter Reichardt Jr. of Lexington, NC, 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, one nephew and two nieces. He is also survived by dear friends Bill and Reagan LaVair and Adopted granddaughter Brooke LaVair. He was preceded in death by two sisters Louise Reimer and Johanna Benware.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. Funeral services will take place at the convenience of the family.
