Obituary for Barbara E. Quinn (Perry)

Barbara E.  Quinn (Perry)
Barbara E. Quinn, age 85, of 34 Academy Street, Saranac Lake, died Saturday, December 05, 2015 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, VT.

Born in Plattsburgh, New York on August 20, 1930, she was the daughter of Charles and Priscilla (Facteau) Perry. Barbara married Roger F. Quinn on August 17, 1957. He predeceased her on May 30, 1989.

Barbara was an active member of St. Bernard’s Church, volunteer for the Community Lunch Box program, Grace Pantry and the Ecumenical Food Pantry. She especially enjoyed spending time with her “Chapel Family”. Barbara was an avid golfer and long time member of the Saranac Lake Golf Club.

She is survived by four sons Anthony John Quinn of Saranac, Timothy James Quinn and his wife Cindi of Auburn, Thomas Frederick Quinn and his companion Linda of Malone, and Donald L. Quinn of Dannemora, three daughters Tammy Rocque and her companion Kyle Munn of Saranac Lake, Donna Puckhaber and her husband Frank of Lake Placid, and Mary Quinn of Saranac Lake, two sisters Marjorie Dunzik of Meadville, PA and Marie Petrashune of Dannemora, 14 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters, Herman, Clyde, Clifford, Mike, Walter, Clarence, Ken, Ralph, Pearl, Theresa and Gert.

Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday December 11, at St. Bernard’s Church in Saranac Lake with Rev. Thomas Higman officiating. Burial will take place in St. Bernard’s Cemetery
