Condolence: Nora, Jim, Heather and Family,

Just a note to let you all know I'm thinking of you on the anniversary of Chris' passing. The first year is hard. But may each day, month and year ahead be filled with all the wondrous things that made up Chris and how much he lived & loved.

Warm regards,

Condolence: Heather,
I was shocked to hear about Chris. My heart goes out to you and the kids. Always had a laugh with him when he came to Freestyle from the MLI to get Richard's buffalo shrimp for his dinner. Please stay strong, and know that my thoughts are with you.

Condolence: Nora,

Matt and I are deeply saddened to have heard the news about Christopher. Although I never got the chance to meet him, I loved hearing your stories about him and his children during our walks around the apple orchard. Know that we’re thinking of and praying for you and your family.

Love,
Lisa Chesnel and Matt Sheehey

Condolence: Chris - It is only now that you are gone that I realize how you have touched my life. Yes we were very good friends but there are very few people in this world that I have met that were as genuine as you were. We had a ton of good times and I am very blessed to have been a part of your life. Thank you for all the memories, keep a watch on us all down here, and I will meet up with you again someday my dear friend. RIP

Condolence: Chris made an impact on everyone he met. He was incredibly generous with his time.

Before really knowing me (I am married to his best bud from childhood), he opened up the Saranac family cabin for my good friend Erica and I to stay at to celebrate her pregnancy.

Our four year-old, Mathias, who met him a few times, but had this to say about him when I shared news of Chris' passing: Emphatically "I love him!! He was so nice! He let me sit in the boat and watch the waves! I love him!". This is coming from a child who does not normally speak this passionately of love.

Chris had a special impact on Mathias' life. On all of ours. He will be greatly missed.

Condolence: Dear Nora and Jim,

My heart goes out to you and Chris' wife, Heather, and his four lovely children. He was such a young man living in one of the most beautiful places in the country. It's easy to fall in love with the North Country once you've attended college there, I know. And from what I've read, it seems Chris cherished it.
My deepest condolences to you all and may God Bless his soul.
Love, Dawn Fratangelo

Condolence: On a few occasions I was fortunate enough to fish in and around Saranac Lake with Chris and his father, Jim. Chris always was enthusiastic, outgoing and cheerful and a pleasure to be with. I will always remember with fondness those too few days with Chris.

Please accept Kathy's and my sincerest condolences on his too soon passing.

I had the pleasure of meeting Chris through my son Ryan Dean when he worked at Enterprise. We have a camp on Upper Saranac Lake and Chris would come visit us at our dock with your Black Lab and the kids. I always looked forward to his visits and his updated stories of the Lake. He was one of the most kind hearted and genuinely caring men I have ever met. He will be missed by all of us and the entire Saranac Lake Community.
