Condolence: Dear Family and Friends of Tim Sr.,

Tim was one of the great men I have known. He looked after me like one of his own just for being friends with his son. His love and dedication to Tim Jr. and Trinity and his grandkids was an awesome thing to behold. He always told the truth to me and everyone around him. He was, quite simply, exactly who he was. It's amazing to find someone like that in this plastic world. I loved him and respected him even in the midst of being a large pain in your backside (I had originally used the coarse language you and I both prefer but it wouldn't accept my submission...). Once again, sorry for Timmy and I's behavior from like 89' to 92' Tim. We were difficult and you dealt with us like a champ. You were like a second father to me and I will remember you always. I will truly miss our visits on my trips back to Saranac Lake. Your home was always open to me and the older I get the more I realize how important that is. Only the good die young my friend. I still feel like you were a bit too good, or just a bit too young. Rest in Peace.

Condolence: I got to know TIM JOCK quite well during my tenure at the Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. He’s definitely a straight shooter! However, always respectful and a true gentleman as I recall. He was always helpful volunteering his free time to help with our many special events, from the Willard Hanmer Guideboat Races to the ALPO International Sled Dog Races, Mayor Tim was always there to offer help and supportI felt he was always working for what wasin the best interests of the Village of Saranac Lake. He also really listened to each and every person who wanted to express an opinion, not always agreeing with them but them but he showed interest and would help in any way he could if it all possible. TIM was a true Saranac Lake Leader. Hopefully future Mayors will follow in his footsteps putting Saranac Lake FIRST as TIM always did. Our Village will be saddened by his loss.
