Mary Louise Ohmann, age 77, of 36 Payeville Lane, Saranac Lake, died Friday, December 21, 2012 at her home.

Born in Saranac Lake, New York on April 06, 1935, she was the daughter of Alex and Violet (Duprey) Aubin. She married Robert Ohmann on September 27, 1952at St. Bernard’s Church.

Mary had been employed at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake for many years in the Housekeeping Department. She also worked in private duty housekeeping for many years. Mary was a member of Church of Saint Luke, the Beloved Physician in Saranac Lake. She also was a member of St. Luke’s Church Ladies’ Guild. Mary enjoyed knitting.

She is survived by her husband Robert of Saranac Lake, NY, two sons, Bruce Ohmann and Kathleen DeMaro of Jay, and Kyle Ohmann and his wife Lori of Hickory, NC, one daughter Sheila Casler and her husband Kenneth of Saranac Lake, two brothers Alex Aubin and his wife Sharon of Saranac Lake, and Norris Aubin and his wife Jessie of Saranac Lake, two sisters Hallie Aubin Ohmann of Saranac Lake, and Janice Mae Bombard of Saranac Lake, 10 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, mother and one sister Ann Grant.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake . A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday December 27, 2012 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Saranac Lake with The Rev. Ann S. Gaillard officiating. Burial will take place in Pine Ridge Cemetery in the spring.
