Obituary for Timothy L. Queior

Timothy L. Queior of 111 Neil Street in Saranac Lake passed away October 29, 2012, after a long illness in the presence of his two beloved cats - Ace and Max.

He was born in Saranac Lake on September 24, 1950, to Oliver Queior and Virginia (Riebel) Queior. At the early age of 10, Tim apprenticed with his father learning from scratch the paving business along with other phases of the driveway and excavation businesses. He became well¬ known for his excellent ethics in completing jobs in a very well-done manner in his area. He helped many folks with their finances and problems.

He graduated from the Saranac Lake High School, attended North Country Community College and went full-time into his father's business which he bought when his father died. When he wasn't busy helping his Dad, he spent time in his grandfather Riebel's workshop helping him with many of his projects. He also learned many things from his grandfather Queior. His sister and he spent many good times fishing and hunting together. Tim enjoyed fixing up antiques and working on his equipment. He loved the old metal toys, but his greatest love was restoring old cars.

He is survived by his wife Joan (Brady) Queior of St. Petersburgh, Florida, formerly of Saranac Lake; his mother, Virginia M. Queior; his sister, Ginny Lee Queior; his uncles: George Riebel, David Riebel, Gary Riebel; his aunt Rosalind Deitz; and several cousins.
